Jill introduces YOU AND ME, ALWAYS

There’s not long to go until Jill’s next novel, You and Me, Always, is published, so who better to introduce it then Jill herself?
Hello, Jill here!
Haven’t we all been moved to read in magazines and newspapers about dying parents writing letters to the children they know they won’t live to see grow up? And haven’t we all wondered what we would write, should we ever find ourselves in that unbearable situation?
This hasn’t happened to me, but it was what inspired me to write You and Me, Always. Oh dear, and now my book sounds incredibly sad, but it really isn’t, I promise. Because life goes on and we all live in a world where comedy and tragedy co-exist. We laugh, we cry, we make the best of things and fall in and out of love… sometimes with the wrong people, at other times with the right ones.
This is what I create: feel-good fiction about people doing their best to be happy. In this case, Lily and her friends and family, who live in Stanton Langley in the Cotswolds. And it all begins on the morning of her twenty fifth birthday when Lily, opening the very last letter from her late mother, initiates a chain of events that will end up altering all their lives.
